A Champagne from the Côte des Blancs only !
The Cazals family is proud of its vines, that are only of the Chardonnay variety. It is a grape variety that gives the wine mineral, floral, citrus, butter, toast, and even hazelnut hints.
The Côte des Blancs (Hill of the Whites) is located in the French department of Marne, and extends from the south of the city of Epernay to the doorstep of the city of Sézanne. It is 20km long. The hills are mainly directed towards the east and the southeast.
Villages famous all around the world...
The temperate oceanic climate with a continental influence allows the sunshine, rain, and temperatures favorable to the development of Chardonnay. It might be the wine area of Champagne whose land is the most noble and the most probable to generate great vintages.
In Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus and Villeneuve-Renneville-Chevigny, the Cazals Champagne House cultivates 9 hectares, exclusively with Chardonnay, which gives the cuvees delicacy, aromatic power and the possibility of a long and rich ripening.
