The Clos

The Claude Cazals Champagne House owns in Oger one of the very rare Clos (enclosed plot) of Champagne. It creates a microclimate that ensures the grapes a maximum ripeness.

Between vines and flowers...

Clos Cazals

"The Clos is a delimited space that was chosen a long time ago by our ancestors for its exposure, geology and sweet way of life. It is a microcosm closed by a wall.

We are happy and proud to open the doors of the Clos Cazals in Oger for a visit and a tasting of the Clos Cazals Cuvee.

The Clos Cazals is located in Oger, in the middle of the Côte des Blancs. My grand father Olivier Cazals bought this property in the 1950s for his son, my father Claude.

They both planted vines there because the place was perfect for it and the exceptional land promised beautiful grapes."

More than a work tool... a safe harbor !

"This place is more than a work tool to me, it is an exceptional site where I like to recharge my batteries and share special moments with champagne and nature lovers, on this Côte des Blancs that is so dear to our family."

l’unicité du Chardonnay, le fruit et le travail des hommes…
